Culture studies in Taiwan~九○年代台灣電影文化研究論述~~以<<悲情城市為例>>
"City of sadness" is the very famous movie in Taiwan. The movei gives the background of the massacre of 228. Although it was a historical film, our young people never have much considerations on the motivation and influences of the movie. However, when finishing the reading of this charper, I realize that it fulls of many historic significance. It is not only the film studies but also the culturl studies.Besides, the two studies have deep connection. That's also why the movie are argued with many scholars. In addition, the arguements alouse much attention to the issues of political. Consequently, as an audience, we must comprehend the meaning which the movie gives instead of the mere exterior .
